A Burns Lake man has pleaded guilty to one count of sexual assault.
The man, who cannot be identified as his name and that of his victim are covered by a publication ban, entered the plea on Nov. 20.
He was originally charged in November 2021 and a first trial date of this past January was set.
But there was an adjournment until November.
The accused was to appear on Jan. 22, 2024 to fix a date for sentencing but it has now been adjourned to Feb. 20, 2024.
