Carving of Sheriff Will Teasle, Rambo First Blood actor, movie props all part of 4-day celebrations

Hundreds of people filled the sidewalk and grass outside Hope District Hall for the unveiling of a new Rambo-themed carving on Saturday (Oct. 8)

Folks cheered as a blanket that was covering the sculpture by artist Ryan Villiers was pulled away revealing a wooden carving of Sheriff Will Teasle.

Brian Dennehy (1938-2020) was the actor who played Teasle, the main antagonist in the 1982 movie Rambo First Blood alongside star of the film Sylvester Stallone.
