Each year, Time designates an individual, group, object or concept as its Person of the Year

This designation comes out each year in December and this year, the honour went to American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.

The list of recipients has been diverse and has included heads of state, environmentalists, philanthropists, public figures and more.

How much do you know about past recipients of Time’s Person of the Year distinction? Put your knowledge to the test with these 10 questions.
